Rotary Phone: Ensuring Connectivity
Photography, Editorial Design, Environmental Graphics, Videography | September 2025
This Rotary Telephone exhibition explored the design of a sub-brand within the existing Powerhouse Museum brand.
I photographed models interacting with the telephone and used the images on the exhibition’s landing page to create immediacy and engagement. I developed a cohesive visual identity for the exhibition, evident in the logo, photography style, marketing materials, and editorial layout.
Throughout the design process, I focused on what would capture a potential patron’s attention, encourage them to read the signage, and entice them to visit the museum — resulting in work that is eye-catching, memorable, and compelling.

Behind The Design
For The Rotary Telephone: Ensuring Connectivity, I developed a sub-brand that balances historical authenticity with a contemporary, approachable aesthetic.
I experimented with typography, photography, and editorial layouts to create a visual language that is tactile, engaging, and consistent across all touchpoints.
Environmental graphics and exhibit signage were designed with careful attention to hierarchy, scale, and readability, ensuring clarity for diverse audiences.
The project extended into digital and physical formats, including a landing page, gift bag, and exhibition catalog, all reflecting the Powerhouse Museum’s brand while uniquely standing out.
Every decision, from color palette to photography style, was driven by how it would create an immersive, memorable, and empowering visitor experience.
